Dr. Berg earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1988 at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has passed parts I, II, and III of the National Board of Chiropractic Examination. He has achieved the Certificate of Proficiency in Chiropractic X-rays and is board-certified in Virginia, California, and Louisiana.
